專業概況

The study of Information Systems (IS) centers on the effective use of information technology—computers and telecommunications networks—to support management decision making and corporate strategy, in addition to providing all necessary operational level support for an organization.

Student Learning Outcomes

Graduates:

• Are able to recognize and analyze ethical problems in organizational situations and select and defend a course of action.
• Are able to effectively communicate complex information system and business concepts orally and in writing
• Are able to apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills when analyzing and solving information system and business problems
• Understand the individual and group dynamics of project teams.
• Have knowledge of IS technology components and their interrelations.
• Have the knowledge to implement information systems that support an organization’s strategic objectives.
• Develop skills through research in IS literature that will prepare them for lifelong learning in the field.

為來自中國的學生設計 Students will be considered for admission to CSUN if they meet the following requirements: Have earned a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 grading scale, or an average of "B" grades on an "A - F" letter grading scale. An international first-time freshman is a student applying to a bachelor's degree program who has not completed any post-secondary course work at a college or university. English language requirements: IELTS Academic - International English Language Test System: 6.0 or higher; iTEP Academic - International Test of English Proficiency - 5.0 or higher; PTE Academic - Pearson’s Test of English - 45 or higher; TOEFL - Test of English as a Foreign Language: Internet Based score: 61, Paper-based score: 500. We do not accept TOEFL ITP.
