Course Overview

Management and Leadership (M&L) play a part in all health and social care roles. Through this course you will explore the concepts of leadership and management, examining style and models of M&L. Using a focus on your own practice and experience you will learn how the use of M&L skills and knowledge can boost efficiency and service quality within your area of practice.

This programme has been created to align with workforce development and supports the progression of staff, in accordance with the standards set by professional, statutory and regulatory bodies such as the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), the Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC). The three modules of the programme are contemporary, in that they meet the needs of the stakeholders and will continue to do so in the future.
