Undergraduate research plays a vital role in the University of Findlay's biology degree program. Students have the unique opportunity to conduct hands-on research with our faculty, which can prove advantageous when applying to graduate schools. Some of these research opportunities have allowed students to travel nationally and internationally, and even work one-on-one with faculty to screen for anti-cancer properties.

Ecology and Environmental Studies

UF owns a 54-acre living laboratory perfect for student research!

The Rieck Center for Habitat Studies showcases diverse habitats, including woodlands, flood plain and prairie. A bird observation room with feeding station and butterfly/hummingbird gardens are also featured.

Molecular Biology

Unique laboratories focus on molecular techniques, including gel electrophoresis, PCR and protein chromatography. Students can collaborate with faculty on independent research projects.

Pre-Medicine

UF pre-med graduates are more than two times as likely to be accepted into medical school compared to the national average.

為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Applicants must have high school grades (minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average) and class rank. English Language Requirements: TOEFL (iBT) score of at least 61, an IELTS score of at least 6.0, a Pearson Test of English (academic) of at least 50, or an International Test of English Proficiency (iTEP) of at least 3.5.
