Our Master of Laws (LLM) offers a unique experience and education for professionals needing highly relevant expertise in key areas of law, along with practice of particular relevance to the modern financial and business world. You can select from our specialist legal electives to build your own LLM. With flexible full-time and part-time study options, you can undertake an LLM at any time in your academic or professional career.

What will you learn on the Master of Laws (LLM)?

The Master of Laws is delivered by a range of international experts and guest lecturers, from leading academics, researchers, judges, officials and practitioners from various legal systems. In addition, each LLM specialism is led by professional lawyers with extensive knowledge and practical experience in that subject area. Their experience gives you valuable insight into the legal system, helping you to not only apply theory to practice but also network and connect with those in practice.

Assessments and examinations

The programme features a variety of assessments including coursework and examinations. Coursework is in the form of essays, reports or case studies, while group or individual presentations may be required to assess other competencies. Examinations will be with written elements or multiple-choice questions and maybe unseen or part-seen, where assessment material is released in advance.

BPP University offers flexibility in how these assessments are undertaken, and the programmes will utilise online tools where available to deliver assessments. On occasion, some assessments may require attendance at a physical location.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計 Students need to have one of the following: 4-year Bachelors awarded by a recognised university:in a subject relevant to the course to be studied at BPP Business School, awarded with a final mark of approximately 70%; 4-year degree from a private college in China with 85% pass; Students with no first degree but with 5-7 years work experience will be considered; Degrees from non-prestigious Chinese universities will be assessed individually; 3-year diploma plus employment experience, awarded by a recognised university in a subject relevant to the course to be studied at BPP Business School and awarded with a final mark of approximately 70%. If students have one of the following qualifications, they would be required to undertake our Masters Foundation Programme before entry onto a postgraduate Masters degree: 3-year diploma (Da Zhuan) in China with less than 70% and no work experience; Students without a first degree but with suitable relevant work experience may also be considered on for some masters programmes.
