Marketing builds a company from the brand up!

Marketing is more than advertising and promotional items, it is about understanding, developing and promoting a brand. Regardless of what a company sells, whether it's a product or a service and no matter how big the business is, marketing is a vital function. It ensures that customers are aware of the company and how that company can benefit them.

Some of the valuable skills learned by marketing majors includes areas such as:

• Personal selling
• Sales force management
• Advertising and promotion
• Product design
• Marketing research
• Customer service

As a marketing major you'll have many unique opportunities to practice what you learn. Students work with local businesses to provide an extreme marketing makeover in order to better promote and brand their establishments. Marketing majors also successfully compete in a national competition through EdVenture Partners .

為來自中國的學生設計 Applicants must have high school grades (minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average) and class rank. English Language Requirements: TOEFL (iBT) score of at least 61, an IELTS score of at least 6.0, a Pearson Test of English (academic) of at least 50, or an International Test of English Proficiency (iTEP) of at least 3.5.
